Brambles says in the description it does 5 damage when something is knocked down why do the wardens do 30 or so damage with brambles?

yea, you have to remember that the original KD does damage as well usually

The original KD does damage and afaik brambles' dmg scales with the pts in its corresponding attribute.

another thing ->

monsters can have a skill rating higher than (16) I dont know if this is the case or not, but its something to keep in mind.

What a joke the attributes have no effect on the 5 damage from brambles as it says 5 in white letters not green.
And since when has "None Shall Pass" done damage?

bottom line: if you took 30 damage, it wasn't brambles.

They have both brambels and laceration. If you're taking damage that shouldn't be there anyway then that means it's from a skill.
